It was a great team effort. Having depth and talent has been a big key to our success this season. Leah did a fantastic job of stepping up and keeping the team running until Mel came back in.

It starts with our captains, and it starts with our point guard. I hope it stings. I hope it hurts.

They got a freshman point guard. Any time you have a freshman point guard, some days are good and some days are bad.

That's not exactly how we scripted it. I give all the credit in the world to Drake. They are a smart team and very well coached.

Our seniors have accomplished a lot this season. I was disappointed that this was the way our seniors had to go out, but they have built a tradition with everything that they have done.

I've probably gotten caught up in it more than I should have. There has been some criticism of our schedule this season and it probably wasn't as tough as it could have been. If we can keep our RPI in the low or mid-30s, I think we'd have a pretty good chance. If we go into the 40s we won't have a very good chance.

To set the record and not be at home, I couldn't think of a better place to break it at. Missouri State is tough at home and they average over 6,000 fans per game, so it will a tough challenge for our kids.

With the addition of Annie, she gives us a lot of depth at the guard position. Annie will be able to relieve Mel at the point so we don't have to play our starting guards a ton of minutes.

When you get into the conference tournament you can't rely so much on your offense. There are too many talented teams that defend well.

We were very fortunate to get the win today. As the season goes along you need these kinds of gut-check games. I think our kids showed a lot of character, especially in the second half.
